Started from Kosmačev pass above Mojstrana. Went with crampons, because snow partially iced. Found bivouac door open and otherwise in poor condition, had trouble closing it. Temperature -5 degrees, no wind. Good view of nearby Julians and Karawanks beauty Kepa. Don't remember so much snow. Lp!

Yesterday from Kosmačev pass up and back. Old snow base below mostly holds weight, higher varies, some dry terrain too. Since terrain higher occasionally steep and exposed, base changing and unreliable, ice axe handy. Good to know path from dry days, though not too demanding orientationally. Bivouac still stands, thick snow roof on it. Nice and warm day.
