Afternoon loop above Blejska koča.. Climbed Mrežca and Lipanski vrh and Brda. The ridge path is by no means easy, there are pitons, pegs and cables.

On Saturday my friend and I did a tour from the road to Rudno polje via planina Zajavornik to Lipanca, climbed Brda and skied via planina Spodnje Brdo back to start. Snow of all kinds, frozen in morning, midday sun softened it to southern crust. Lots of hikers, some without winter gear though conditions required it. Today nice circular walk via Kredarica to Brda. At the top, wonderful views, with a light breeze so we weren't too hot.

@lynx yes, Kredarica is the peak between Brda and Mrežce.

On the first spring day we used it to visit Pokljuka and probably the last ski touring from car to car. The warm sun quickly melts the snow, on some parts there are already rocks, today there are already bare spots. Via planina Zajavornik we climbed to planina Lipanca and continued on skis to Spodnja Brda, went through corn snow, enjoyed the white addiction and continued the ascent to the Brda summit.
Met a ski tourer on the ascent, more on the descent from the top. Summit views breathtaking. Jackdaws cheered us, shared our treats with them. Skied in the direction of the ascent, avoided rocks and stones and returned to the starting point meeting hikers and skiers. Sadly snow conditions will worsen in the coming days, rain coming...

For the start of the ski touring season my friend and I visited Brda. We started from Medvedova korta and from Lipanca onwards also used skis for the ascent. There is little snow, will have to wait longer for carefree descent. But the weather was even nicer.
