Yesterday still not. But have to say they use it usefully too. Driving on asphalt road so high is nice thing. At least to me it seems so. Greeting!

Ajda thanks for answer. Yes true, given the forecast for the end of the weekend, something will work out. LP

Thanks for info, but I'm more interested in condition re current snow cover.
I asked bit broadly.

How about the toll up there - are they still collecting it?

Well, after the "luxury 4-wheel hotel" where the temperature dropped below zero overnight, hehe, we warmed up quickly with my companion, first with coffee, then already with the valley approach on the snowy and impassable road to Blato pasture (drivable a couple of 100m from the Voje-Blato junction). We decided on a circular tour and were already puffing towards the Laz pasture I love so much, where an amphitheater of Bohinj beauties and handsome ones caresses you from all sides. Here we met the one and only other hiker, who was even hiding in the hut, hehe, but still learned that ahead nothing is trodden, nothing trampled... hmmm, of course return was no option and we continued on old ski tracks and yes, it was real training for me, since my companion had snowshoes, and her statement made me laugh... "it goes right, anyway you don't sink to your knees, hahahhahahahahaaa - victory, pure victory"nasmeh
At the pasture at Jezero sunbathing, which didn't help my already tanned face at all, but the warmth warmed the body and hiding from the wind was successful... followed by descent training to the valley and yes, the car was really far...

Yesterday 21.3. went from Planina Jezero where I stayed overnight to Planina v Lazu. Snowshoes essential, powder in forest, afternoon already forming snowballs. Descended to planina Blato. Car access to Blato impossible. Descent from Laz to Blato was orientationally demanding as no hiker tracks in fresh snow ahead.

From Voje hut to Krstenica, continued to planina v Lazu then to Planina pri Jezeru where I stayed. Next day to Dedno polje pasture. As snowballs formed on snowshoes and I didn't want to turn into a tree, I turned before Ovčarja pasture, descended to Blato then road to Stara Fužina. 10-20cm powder on hard base not penetrable by snowshoes. Road to Blato undrivable (only to ~700m) and plowed barely ski descent suitable.

At Planina pri Jezeru in the morning I noticed interesting tracks, which I couldn't identify precisely in the powder. I identified them only on the smoothed ski tour approach track. Undoubtedly, a bear from Blato pasture via road visited Planina pri Jezeru and fled over the frozen lake towards planina v Lazu. Now at least we know who punches holes in the approach tracks for tourers. I also learned that everything comes in handy sometime: good that I snore.
