Yesterday was an ideal day to visit the newly snow-covered peaks. I drove by car to Avsa village above Livk, from there on foot to Mrzli vrh above Idrska planina. From the top nice view on one side to neighboring peaks, on the other with good weather you can see all the way to the sea. For many maybe a less known peak, but increasingly popular also as take-off point for paragliders.

From Avsa village set off at 9am, snow at start ~0.5m, top much more but windblown spots... Base frozen and breaks esp. in lower areas. Some pics..

Today family trip from Avsa to Mrzli vrh above Idrska planina. Path (still) dry, top cold a bit windy. Views fantastic nasmeh
