My comment and call for debate is exclusively constructive. To the team preparing avalanche reports for ARSO I would only give praise, as I believe it would be much more detailed if more state funds were allocated for it. No problem. When you follow fresh snow and temperatures for a while, you can already predict mountain conditions quite well. Therefore I suggest as a supplement to the report (or standalone) to provide access to last week's conditions data, automatically updated daily. Daily temperatures, fresh snow and perhaps wind for a few representative stations (e.g. Kredarica, Vogel, Krvavec) would suffice. These values are recorded daily at least during ski season, so no problem for a computer to display them in one table for another 5 or 7 days. Even better if average daily and nighttime temperatures are given separately. Since ARSO provides access to all its measurements (input data for processing) on its portal, it's a shame we can't see input data for avalanche reports too. ARSO doesn't have to make this table. Someone here who knows web pages can do it and make it available on this portal (hribi.net). I hope I have some like-minded people who will chime in, constructive criticism welcome too. For next season (though this one isn't over) I'm sure with little effort this data can be made clearly accessible. If this data is already available somewhere, apologies and recommend the link... Best, Jaša
