On Saturday I set off via pl. Konjščica to VDV. However, somewhere halfway between Jezerci and Studorski pass a nice snow-covered gully to Ablanca tempted me, so I put on crampons and climbed it. But this gully surprised me a bit with its steepness and ice-hard snow. Nevertheless, I reached the top and descended the "summer" path to Studorski pass. The whole path from Jezerci to Studorski went on more or less hard snow. From Studorski pass onwards along the ridge to VDV the path is mostly bare. At the summit with great views and almost no wind I enjoyed nearly two hours, then descended to the saddle with Mali Draški vrh (still quite some snow - need to zigzag on snow and through scrub) and on to Jezerce and pl. Konjščica. Nice trip. Despite nice weather, only a few hikers. nasmeh

Rudno polje, pl. Jezerce, Studorski pass. Here with Lara we first climbed Ablanca.
Then we went along quite overgrown path also to VDV. We descended to saddle and below MDV continued to Srenjski pass. Since peaks started to wrap in fog we skipped Viševnik. Weather held, plenty of hikers, paths without features, lots of flowers.
