A bit late, since we were there on Saturday, but conditions are the same although I doubt anyone will repeat it soon. Anyway nice tour in this little visited SE area of Duran pass, where we started on a beautiful morning. Initially path 524 runs through a beautiful larch forest, which soon turns into scree. When we peek out of the thicket and spot the wall barrier we must at the junction go right onto the bare ridge, which turns into scree and gravel to the La Porta saddle. Here we leave path 524 and turn right onto a nice ledge that crosses the whole wall to the base of the summit head of the highest peak. Here and there we scramble and already the view opens to the more famous peaks. Descent was along the ascent path to the junction below the wall, where a less noticeable path right under the wall leads again 200m up to the next saddle-Forcella San Sebastiano and from there it's less than half an hour to the summit Cima di San Sebastiano with even better views. We descended along the approach path, although there is also a more difficult (one abseil) and longer path- Via dei Cengioni. Really nice tour in beautiful weather that already smells a bit like autumnsmile
