Haller's primrose (Primula halleri)
Description:
Primula halleri belongs to the primrose family, flowers from June to July, grows from 10 to 30 cm tall. Primula halleri is not the most common. It is found mainly in the Julian Alps in Krma, at Prehodavci, on the path to Vodnikov dom below Tosec and many other places. Strongly pink flowers are at the end of a long stem in a multi-flowered umbel. The stem is longer than the leaves. Leaves are whitish below and farinose. The corolla tube of the flower is 1-3 cm long and distinctly longer than the calyx.
