Description:
Common butterwort (Pinguicula vulgaris) belongs to the Lentibulariaceae family, flowers from March to June, grows from 5 to 15 cm high. We more rarely find this beautiful blue-violet carnivorous plant. Grows by springs, moors, loves wet rocky areas and shade. The plant has sticky fleshy yellowish-green leaves. The spur on the flower is 3-6 mm long.
