Polhov Gradec (Blagaj Castle) - Blagajev grad (Polhograjska graščina) (Blagajeva pot)

Access to the starting point:
a) From Dobrova, Horjul or Gorenje village, drive to Polhov Gradec, and from the main crossroads continue in the direction of Črný Vrho. After a short climb, you will arrive at Polhograjska manor, where the road leads you through the walls, then turn left and park at a suitable place along the road, where there are also mountain direction signs (there is also a small parking area in front of the walls of Polhograjska manor).
b) From Černý Vrch, descend to Polhov Gradec, turn right and park in a suitable place by the road in front of the walls.

Path description:
The Blaga's Trail signs direct us from Polhograjska manor to the nearby Beekeeping House, after which we start climbing in the same direction as the trail to Sv. Lovrenec. After a short climb, behind the Blagaje Monument, the marked trail to St. Lovrenec turns right, continues steeply upwards, and we continue straight on, on a path that completely lays down. There is a few minutes of crossing, where the path leads us past a few points of interest and several information boards. There is a short descent to the castle's water reservoir, and then we follow the asphalt road down to the castle walls, where we continue to the right. Walk above the castle garden for a short distance and then continue right up the hill. There is a steep climb for a few minutes before joining a wider and steeper path with Stations of the Cross along the way, which we reach at Station 5.
We continue along the wide path past the other stations of the Stations of the Cross, and then reach the Kalvarija, or Old Castle, peak.
From the top, we return to Station 5 by the ascent route, and then continue along the Stations of the Cross until we reach the parish church. After the church, descend the stairs (Usrani gasi) to Sever's house, from there return to the top of the stairs, and then continue along the asphalt road descending to Polhograjska manor house, where the Blaga Trail ends.
