Access to the starting point:
From the Trzin - Kamnik road, turn off at Loka onto the local road in the direction of Loka and Doben. Continue through Loka, following the signs for Dobena at the crossroads. Continue through a few more fields, then the road turns into the forest, where it starts to climb steeply. Soon we arrive in Dobena, and we follow the road for a while, passing the Ručigaj Inn and Dobena Hram to a large asphalted parking area, next to which there is a chapel and a bench.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the ascending asphalt road, which you follow at the crossroads in the direction of Doma na Rašici. With beautiful views of Posavsko hribovje and partly also of Kamnik Savinja Alps, we quickly reach the hamlet, where the mountain direction signs for Dom na Rašici direct us to the right to the initially wide cart track. Here the path turns into a forest, and at the crossroads we carefully follow the markings so that we do not miss the right path in the maze of tracks and paths. Higher up, the wide path descends slightly and then begins a moderate climb towards Dom na Rašici, which is reached after a few minutes of further walking.
From the house, continue along the winding path towards the lookout tower, which is reached after a further minute's walk. For a nice view, it is worth climbing the 17 m high lookout tower.
