Access to the starting point:
a) First, drive to Kamnik, then continue driving towards the Črnivec Pass. Just a few 100 m before the pass, you will see signs for Kranjski Rak, which direct you sharp left onto a narrow and initially quite steep road. The road is higher and then leads us to the Volovljek Pass, where we park near the Kranjski Rak guesthouse (parking in front of the guesthouse is only allowed for guests).
b) From Gornji Grad, drive towards Kamnik, and then, just a few 100 m after the Črnivec Pass, turn right in the direction of Kranjski Rak. Continue as described above.
c) From the Savinjska valley, first drive to Luce, then continue towards Kamnik. When you reach the Volovljek pass, park in a suitable place next to the Kranjski Rak guesthouse (only guests are allowed to park in front of the guesthouse).
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road along which you parked. After a 25-minute walk, the road leads to a larger clearing where there is a crossroads. Take the road to the left, marked Home on Kisovec. The road then goes into the wods and climbs gently. Soon it leads out of the forest, where the road begins to descend slightly to the parking area at Rakove ravneh. Here the road turns left into the forest and after a further 20 minutes' walk leads to the Home on Kisovec.

izletniška točka primerna za družine z majhnimi otroci,(lahko še v vozičku) ki niso vajene zahtevnejših vzponov, prav tako bi jo predlagala starejšim. Čist zrak in neokrvnjena narava!

Luštkan izlet, poleti mora bit še lepše.Otroc navdušeni. Pazite kje puščate avtomobile, men je nekdo s pajsarjem vrata zvil. Drugič bom pustil kar odprtega. Pa naj si postreže, vsaj škode ne bo. Ne moreš verjet, da barabe hodjo tud v hribe krast.

Lep in lahek izlet za družine in hiter skok v hribe po službi. Igrala pred domom so prava zabava za otroke.
K temu pa pristavljam še kritiko oskrbnikov, ki vodijo dom na Kisovcu. Notranjost zakajena, sramotno opotekajoče popolnoma pijano osebje (ob 17:30 uri na aprilsko soboto), počasna postrežba in visoke cene; kot da morajo hrano in pijačo dostavljati tja gor s helikopterjem. Pri plačilu nismo dobili računa. Drža osebja v domu je pravo nasprotje tistega kar bi moral planinski dom predstavljati v hribih.
