Bottom station of cableway on Krvavec - Dom na Gospincu (Hotel Rozka) (over Davovec and on ridge of Trdovnik)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Vodice, then continue to the first semaphore crossing in Vodice, where you turn left towards Cerkelj na Gorenjskem and Brnik. When you reach the main roundabout on Spodnji Brnik, continue driving in the direction of Cerkeliai and the Krvavec ski resort. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski resort. Park in the large parking lot at the bottom station of the Krvavec cable car.
b) From the motorway Jesenice - Ljubljana, take the exit Kranj - East, then continue to Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. When you reach the main roundabout at Spodnji Brnik, continue driving towards Cerkeliai and the Krvavec ski resort. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski resort. Park in the large parking lot at the bottom station of the Krvavec cable car.

Path description:
From the lower station of the round-cabin cable car at Krvavec, continue along the asphalt road towards Štefanji Gora, and walk along it to the first left turn, in the middle of which a marked path, initially even worse, branches off to the right towards Krvavec. The worse road, along which we continue our ascent, climbs up the right bank of the Rijeka River, and we go a little higher, at a marked crossroads, to the left in the direction of Davovec and the upper station of the cable car. There is a short steeper climb and then we reach cart track, which we follow to the left. The cart track gets worse and worse, and we continue along the forest path, which in parts follows the same route as the downhill track, so caution is advised. Higher up, a marked trail branches off to the right from the marked path towards the Davovec Memorial Park, and we continue to the left and after a few minutes of further climbing we reach an abandoned house and, behind it, ruins and an information board. Here, another path branches off to the right towards the aforementioned park, and we continue straight ahead along a wider and, later on, quite steep path, which we follow all the way to the Davovec saddle, where we reach the wide cart track.
When you reach cart track, continue right in the direction of Krvavec. Walk along the marked path towards Krvavec for a few minutes, then leave the marked path at the Partisan Monument and continue along cart track, which splits into two parts a little higher up.
Continue along the right-hand cart track (the left-hand one returns to the marked path towards Krvavec) in the direction of the path of the Second Group of Detachments and Kriška planina. Walk transversely to the right along cart track, then follow the route of the circular cable car up a slightly steeper incline. A few 10 metres further on from the left-hand bend where cart track is placed, a track branches off to the left, along which you will see red star-shaped markings later on (following the right-hand cart track, you will quickly reach the nearby waterhole). The path then passes into the forest, where it first leads us along the growth of chemaža and past a small well. There is a short crossing on a less steep slope, and then we reach the back of the forest, after which the slope becomes quite steep. There is a crossing where we are "helped" by some fixed safety gear, which are on the lower side of the slope, so that they serve more as a fence. The slope soon becomes noticeably less steep, but the path is still less visible, and the red stars show the right way. We then cross Srednji gragn, and then begin to climb crosswise towards the ridge of Trdovnik. We continue to follow the red stars, here and there one of them has a golden-yellow border. A fainter path, along which there are also a few cairns, leads us across the steep slope to the ridge of Trdovnik, where we reach a more traceable path arriving from Lukenjski graben.
When we reach the ridge, the "markings" in the form of red stars end and we continue climbing along a distinct ridge. We climb relatively steeply along the forested ridge of Trdovnik for a while, then we reach cart track, which turns left, and at the first crossroads we continue to the right. The cart track is quickly followed out of the forest, and the path splits into two parts a few 10 steps further on, at a small hunting observation post.
Continue left in the direction Kriška planina (straight mountain pasture Jezerec) and after a short ascent reach the road leading to the upper station of the circular cable car to Krvavec. This road is reached just at a small crossroads, and we continue to the left (straight Kriška planina, right mountain pasture Jezerca). The road continues to climb crosswise, leading us partly through the forest, and partly across the viewing slopes, which offer a beautiful view of the Gorenjska Mountains. When the road is laid, it then leads quickly to the upper station of the round-cabin cableway, opposite which is the Mountain Home at Gospinec or Rozka Cottage.
