Zapotok - Kurešček

Access to the starting point:
From the southern Ljubljana ring road, take the exit Ig and follow the road to the above-mentioned place. At Igo turn left towards Kureščko (right Iška vas), then after a few 100m turn right up the road, again towards Kureščko. Continue along the ascending road, which you follow to the place where road signs direct you left towards Turjak and the village of Zapotok. Follow this road to a small quarry on the left side of the road.

Path description:
From the quarry, continue along the asphalted road, which begins to descend gently. After a few minutes of easy walking, the road leads to a crossroads, where you continue slightly to the left in the direction of Brin Hill. The road then quickly leads to the next crossroads, where we continue slightly uphill to the left (towards Brinov hill). After a short climb, the road then leads us to the last houses in the village, and behind them it changes to cart track, which takes us into the forest. Cart track quickly leads us to a pleasant meadow by which we notice a wooden bench. Here the path turns right and goes into a dense forest on the other side of the meadow. The path continues to climb steeply and after a few minutes leads us to the cemetery at Kureščko, where we also get on the road. Continue to the left and follow the ascending road all the way to the church at the top of Kureščko.
