Sveti Peter - Pusti Peter

Access to the starting point:
First we drive to Črnomelj, then we continue driving to Dragatuš and Vinica. Just after Dragatuš, you will see road signs for the village of Zapudje, which direct you to the right onto a narrower road that continues between fields. The road then climbs steeply and leads to a small crossroads where you continue right towards some houses. At the houses, the asphalt ends and we continue on the dirt road, which quickly leads to St Peter's Church, where we park in a suitable place.

Path description:
From the church, continue along a slightly worse macadam road, which soon leads to a clearing with a vineyard and a small cottage next to it. Here the path returns to the wods, and we pay attention to the left fork (the path branches off the road to the left just a few metres before the nearby weekend house). We continue along the forest path, along which we see the GUP (Forest Learning Path) signs, and we follow these signs to the nearby ruins of the former church, in the middle of which stands a cross with Jesus Christ and, at the bottom of the cross, the keys of St Peter.
