Laško (at Tabor Castle) - Hum above Laško (through Zahum and on east ridge)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Maribor, take the exit Celje - centre, then continue to Laško and Zidane Most. When you get to Laško, at the traffic lights opposite the Hum motel and the Špica pizzeria, turn left over the bridge, then right on the priority road, then 2x left and immediately right again into Kidričeva cesta, here you will see signs for the Tabor Castle, which you will also follow on the road to Svetina, and when you are going uphill, another sign for the castle points you to the left, and then you will drive another 300 m to the parking lot of the castle.
b) From Zasavje or Posavje, drive to Zidani Most or Rimske Toplice, then continue to Celje. When you reach Laško, turn right at the traffic lights opposite the Hum Motel and the Špica pizzeria over the bridge, and then do the same as in a).

Path description:
From the parking lot at Tabor Castle, turn left from the information board, first 10 m along the road, then across the meadow, keeping right to the woods, then 5 minutes on the flat, and at the end a bit of a climb to the crossroads below Blažunovo skala, then take the left path steeply in the switchbacks down to the asphalt road, and another 5 minutes to get here. Follow the road up to the last house (another 15 minutes), then straight on to the macadam, higher up follow the signpost on the macadam into the forest, higher up the macadam road leads to a clearing, and soon we are at a crossroads where we turn right steeply into the forest, higher up at the next crossroads go slightly left, then in a few minutes when we come out of the forest at the signposts take a sharp right turn (another 10 minutes to get here). Soon you will reach a grove of young spruce trees, pass here on the left, then the trail begins to climb towards the eastern ridge. A pleasant ridge trail follows, first through the forest, then higher up through more open country, some of it flat, but mostly climbing, with some intermediate descents. On the right we see a signing in book (it looks like the top of Hume) (another 15 minutes to get here), we continue in the keys, along the ropes, partly through the forest, partly through the open area and reach a lookout with a bench, where a view of the top of Hume opens up (another 15 minutes). The last part through the forest follows, flat at first, then steep, and quickly we find ourselves on the top of Hume.
