Access to the starting point:
From Bovec, drive towards the Predel border crossing. After a few kilometres, we see the Kluže Fortress on the side of the road and a parking lot next to it, where we park.
Path description:
On the opposite side of the river from the Kluže Fortress, you will notice a crossroads where the signs for Bavšica direct you to a slightly narrower road. The road, which is gently ascending for the most part, leads us after a while to the village of Spodnja Bavšica, where we notice unusual signposts (the signs have directions and distances of famous places in the world). We continue on the asphalted road, which after a good hour's walk from the starting point leads us to a small crossroads where the asphalt ends. Here we continue on the right road (Briceljk on the left), which in a few minutes of further walking leads us to the Youth and Education Centre in Bavšice.
