Description of mountain: The hut is located beneath Ovčji vrh (Geissberg) on the Austrian side of the Karavanken mountains. There is a nice spring just beside the cottage and a beautiful view of the north wall of Stol and the nearby mountains in the Karavanken mountains. The meadows that lie near the hut, offer enough food for the livestock in the summer time.
