Description of mountain hut:
Hut Knorrhütte is located in the Wetterstein mountain group at an altitude of 2052 metres. The hut has a very nice view of the peaks above the Reintal valley and the peaks above the Zugspitze ski area. The Zugspitze peak is also visible. The hut was built in 1855 and has been renovated and enlarged several times since. The hut is open from the end of May to the beginning of October.
