Gora sv. Eme (Junska gora) / Hemmaberg

Description of peak:
Gora sv. Eme is located south of the village of Podjuna / Jaunstein. The Church of St. Emma (Hema) Krška stands on the top and the ruins of former churches have been restored next to it. A little below the summit is the cave of St. Rosalie / Rossliengrotte and the spring of healing water / Quelle bei Rosaliengrotte. From the top, you have a beautiful view of the Podjejuna / Jauntal and the surrounding mountains.
Due to the danger of falling rocks, access to the cave of St. Rosalie and the spring is not possible (January 2019).
