Black Lake on Pohorje is the creation of an artificial lake. Around 6000 BC, at the end of ice age have the then inhabitants of Pohorje deeper marshy surface, and it turned into a lake. The size of the lake are a result of bringing the timber in the valley of the middle of the 19 th century has increased. Lake in which we find rare animal and plant species are now measured about 50 hectares.
