We drive from Škofja Loka through Gorenja vas till Žiri. When we come to Žiri a signpost for Goropeke directs us upwards to left (if we come from Logatec, right). Then it leads us past the house where Leopold Suhodolčan was born. Soon it goes into a forest. We notice a small parking lot by the road near memorial tablet. We park there.

The parking lots continue as asfaltirani road, to us shortly from the forest into the village Goropeke. In the village church which we see is a crossing. Proceed right past the church, road then leads us to the next junction. Continue straight on the left of the road and in a few steps to get home, which is located in the embrace of the forest.
