Access to the starting point:
Zgornja Sveča (Winettou Valley) ideally accessible from Majšperk and Rogatec. Park at the Skralska torrential stream at the turn-off for the Winettou Valley.
Path description:
From the starting point, continue towards the Winettou Valley, along a well-trodden forest road. Immediately before the final turnoff for Winettou, turn sharp left and continue along the forest road. After a few hundred metres, turn right onto a typical forest mountain path and shortly at/above a lonely farmhouse, a little higher up, crossing onto a plateau with some views. Continue along the well-marked mountain path and reach the well-trodden forest road again. After a few hundred metres there is a hut of the Maribor Forest Institute and some open countryside with meadow. Continue along the mountain trail, partly logging trail, to a crossroads with the Halo Mountain Trail. At the crossroads, go sharp left uphill, where after a few dozen metres you reach the highest peak of the Haloze hills. From the top there are some views to the north and east.
