We drive from Slovenia to border pass Jezersko from where we go to Železna Kapla (Eisenkappel) where we turn left towards Šajda (Zell-Schaida). When we arrive to Zell Schaida we can see a parking lot and signposts for Hochbir near a church. We park on this parking lot. If we come from Austria we drive to Borovniško jezero (lake) which is located east from Borovlja (Ferlach). We keep on driving towards village (Zell-Schaida). We soon come to Dražja vas where we turn left again towards (Zell-Schaida). We park in this village on a parking lot near a church. There are signposts by this parking lot.

The parking lots are across the street which is closed with a screen. After a few minutes walking on the road to get to the tags on Hochobir foot path (Ojstrc). Path, which takes place mainly through the forest and occasionally moderate somewhat strmeje climbs which crosses several mountain road. Later, the path to focus slightly right and becomes slightly from time to time viewing. The way forward is climbing up a flight of grassy slopes, which are occasionally slightly overgrown. Then, in front of you zagledamo ruins of the former meteorological station a path leads past Sunday as left rubble circumvent more. Soon after that, however, connect the road from huts (Eisenkappler Hutt). Here in front of you already clearly see the top of which is achieved within a few minutes walk.
