Access to the starting point:
Cross the Ljubelj border crossing into Borovlje / Ferlach, where you turn right towards the village of Sele / Zell-Pharre. Follow the road, which climbs for the most part, for 10 km to Sele / Zell-Pharre, where you will see signs for Freiberg / Feiberg. Turn left here and drive a few metres to a roadside parking lot near a kindergarten.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the left-hand road, which takes you past the kindergarten and a few houses to the chapel behind which the road ends. Continue along the path, which climbs gently over the meadow and after a few minutes leads us to the edge of the forest, where we continue straight up between the meadow and the edge of the forest. At the top of the meadow, the path changes to cart track and climbs above a stream, which can be seen to the right below us. A little higher up, cart track crosses a stream and soon afterwards comes to a forest road. Follow the road for a short distance, as after a few dozen metres a footpath branches off to the left up through the coppice. Follow this path, which soon enters the forest, until it joins the road again. After crossing the road, you come to a crossroads where you continue on the right-hand path in the direction of Setiče/Freiberg.
The path continues along the right-hand side, bypassing a small cross along the way, and then climbs a wide vegetated ridge. The path ahead becomes steep and eventually leads to a hunting lodge, which can be seen on the left side of the path. The steepness eases here and the path leads us to a forest road, which we cross twice within a few metres. The way ahead climbs steeply again and then climbs through increasingly sparse forest. The steepness then begins to subside and the path leads us into a larch forest. A little further on, the path leads us to the unpaved top slopes of the mountain, which we climb all the way to the top and which we reach after about 15 minutes of further walking.

...Setiče so izredna gora. Vsa pobočja so porasla z gozdom, na planotastem vršnjem delu, pa je kot v pravljici. Nizka trava, stoletni macesni, kakšen nizek borovc. Prostorni vrh nas kar kliče k počitku in vabi z odličnim razgledom. Severna stran grebena Košute je kot na dlani, Veliki in Mali Obir sta tik pred nami, vidimo pa tudi bližnji Javornik in Mačno. Sama pot je res kar malo strma, ampak ko si na vrhu si poplačan za ves trud, zelo lepo, čav Majda

Danes smo bili na Setišču. Lep razglednik škoda, ker je bil greben Košute zakrit z oblaki. Drugače pa izredno lepa tura. Po poti od začetka se nam je pridružil celo štirinožeč, pes in nas spremljal do vrha in nazaj. Lp Gorjan

Pri začetku poti bi bilo treba vnesti spremembo; namreč, do kapelice pri kmetiji ni dovoljeno iti, pot ob njej je tudi zaprta z rampo. Dostop je s poti po travniku tik ob pašni ograji, do parcele nenaseljene hiše nad kmetijo, kjer je treba dvakrat precej nerodno prečkati ograjo vrta te hiše, nato pa se nadaljuje tako, kot je opisano zgoraj.
Pri Užnikovem križu pa bi morda lahko koga tudi zmedlo dejstvo, da sta tam dva križa - eden desno, drugi levo od poti (precej nov, zraven je na razglednem mestu postavljena miza in klop). Pot se seveda nadaljuje mimo desnega (starejšega) križa.

Čudovita tura, izredni vrh. Ta je špica izleta! V teh jesenskih barvah nezamenljiv ! Po izletu še krog okoli jezera Reßnig, in krog lepot je bil sklenjen.
