Kranjska Gora-Trenta 50.serpentina. We turn on a macadam road here and drive till a gate where we park on a parking lot. |
| Path description: |
At the barrier we orient on the lower road, which we follow to the end. On the end of the road is a crossroad where we turn left (Prehodavci right). We walk on a mule-track from the first world war. It is wide just some where because it was destroyed by avalanches and storms. We get to the crossroads on 1500 metres height where we turn left (right Dolič) and get to saddle Luknja in one hour. Path on saddle turns right almost vertically. Safety devices are the to help us. When we scale the first wall the path becomes gradual, but that doesn't mean the trouble is over. There is almost no safety devices from now on and we occasionally walk on narrow path above a deep gulf. Very dangerous in wet. Whet the terrain becomes gradual the hardest part is behind us. We see famous Sfinga here (overhanged pillar in Triglav wall). Soon we lay eyes on unexpressive top. We follow the path to Triglav and it soon branches right. Wide unmarkes path brings us to Mobegna. We have just a few steps to the top from here. |
