Visoko (Mali Kurešček) - Sveti Lenart (Krvava Peč) (via Pavlinovo brezno)

Access to the starting point:
a) First drive to Ig, then continue driving towards Kureščko. When the main road turns left towards Kureščko, continue straight ahead, then quickly arrive in the village of Visoko. About 200 metres further on from the signpost marking the beginning of the settlement, on the part where the road passes through the forest, on the right-hand side you can see the mountain markers for Kurešček, Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. Park in a suitable place along the road.

b) First, drive to the village of Rob (to get here from the road Ljubljana - Kočevje, where at Rašica turn towards the village of Rob, or from Notranjska) and from there in the direction of Kureščko. Higher up, you will arrive in the settlement Zapotok, where you will continue straight ahead at the crossroads behind the bus station, and then drive past the ranch, and beyond it you will arrive at another bus stop at the hamlet of Mali Kurešček. Continue straight on here, and when the road turns into the forest, you will see on the left side the mountain signs for Kurešček, Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. Park in a suitable place along the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, follow the marked trail in the direction of Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iškega Vintgar. The trail begins with a few short ascents and descents and leads through the forest and across karst meadows. Follow the trail at the crossroads in the direction of the markings, and after a while you will reach a macadam road, which you will follow to the left. Then we climb along the dirt road, which makes a few serpentines, and then we reach the next marked crossroads, where we join the path from Mokrca or the starting point of Kamen.

The way forward leads us along a more complex macadam road, from which a worse road soon branches off to the left. Continue on the above-mentioned road, which is not marked and which drops slightly and changes to cart track, which turns slightly to the left. Cart track becomes quite overgrown in a nearby clearing, and we continue right at two small forks. There are a few minutes of easy walking on a less traceable path, then the path becomes more distinct and widens a little further into cart track. After a short descent, when you reach a dirt road, follow it to the right.
While walking along the road, the path from Sekirišče joins us from the left, and a little further on, a 100-metre path branches off to the right to Pavlin's Abyss. Continue straight ahead and join the path that does not lead past Pavlin's Abyss.
Continue straight ahead and continue downhill to Krvava Peč, where the path from Iškega Vintgar joins from the right. Go left here and pass the OZVVS Velike Lašče Veterans' Home and descend to a marked crossroads in the village.
At the crossroads, take the path to the right (St. Lenart's Church on the left along the road), which also leads to St. Lenart's, and a little further on, take the road to the left and walk through the yard and past the fields to the edge of the woods, where the path begins to climb steeply. Soon you reach a lookout point with a bench and a table, from which you have a beautiful view of the other side of the River Ischka, where you can see Osredek, and to the left behind you, the view reaches all the way to Snežnik.
At the bench, the path turns left and quickly leads to a road, which you can also follow to the left, and walk along it to the nearby 17th-century church of St Lenart.
