Tourist farm Trnovc - Tourist farm Trnovc (learning trail Kriva jelka)

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Naklo exit, then follow the signs for Spodnje and Zgornje Duplje. Leave the main road at Zgornje Duplje and continue driving left in the direction of Trnovc camp. The road then leads us past a few more houses, and we follow the narrow asphalt road to the tourist farm and the Trnovc bivouac, where we park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we return a little way back to the information board of the Kriva jelka Rural-Natural History Learning Trail, where the first signs in the shape of a crooked fir tree direct us to the trail, which continues alongside the tennis court. Quickly take the minor dirt road, which you follow for a short distance as the signs point you slightly right to cart track, which turns into a forest. Cart track gradually turns into a forest track, which ascends to a meadow, which is only crossed and returns to lane of the forest. Once you have walked a little further along the edge of the fields, you continue straight ahead again, so that the path leads you under the route of a high-voltage power line, from where you have a fine view towards Košuta, and at the cross and the hunting observatory, the path continues along the macadam road and leads you into the woods.
There is a short descent, a stream crossing, and then a quick climb up to the main road, which is carefully crossed. On the other side of the road, turn left and continue walking on the pavement, following the main road to the bus stop in Zadraga, next to which is the Dopulnik (also Dupulnek) cave.
Go around the cave on the left and follow the path into the forest, where you will see the signs for the Kriva Jelka trail. Higher up, there are a few successive forks where you follow the signs carefully, and the part where you walk along the macadam road offers a nice view towards Dobrča and Julian Alps in the background.
A little further on, you reach a wider dirt road, where you merge with the Three Bells Trail, and a little further on, at a sign, take a sharp right onto a forest track. A fairly easy walk with a few short ups and downs follows before returning to the dirt road, where you continue to follow the well-known signs.
At the part where the path from Zgornje Duplje joins from the right, continue slightly left, and at the next marked crossroads, which you will reach after a few minutes of further walking, go left (Vogvar's house and Grad on the right - this is the path you will be returning along) and continue walking along the dirt road.
The road then leads us past a crossroads, where a path branches off to the right towards the NOB monument in Želin, and we continue straight on, passing by the huts of the roustabouts and quickly arriving at Kriva jelka, where there are some information boards. Here, turn 180 degrees and follow the road back to the crossroads behind Vogvar's house, then follow the forest path, along which there are still signs for the Kriva firka trail. The trail continues downhill to the settlement Spodnje Duplje, where you pass the parish church of St. Vida on your left, and follow the signs through the settlement, which are a bit faulty at this point.
At the edge of the settlement, by the chapel, cross a slightly wider asphalt road, then continue along the field until you cross the main road Naklo - Križe.
On the other side of the main road, follow the macadam road downhill a little, then follow the nature trail partly through the forest and partly across the meadows. When you reach the asphalt road, turn left and follow it all the way to the tourist farm Trnovc, where you started and finished the circular route.
