Access to the starting point:
From Horjul or Dobrova, drive to Polhov Gradec, then continue to Črnji Vrho. A little above Polhovi Gradec, at the junction of the Mala and Velika Bozna, turn left and park in the roadside parking lot just after the bridge.
Path description:
Just a few metres away from the starting point, we see mountain direction signs directing us to the right on a footpath that starts to climb steeply through the forest. After a steep initial part, the path transitively lays down a little, then turns slightly to the left, where it gradually transitions to very steep and, especially in the wet, dangerous slopes for slipping. The path continues on, first crossing these slopes in a moderate ascent, and then also straightening out. This is followed by a steep climb through a pine grove, along a path that runs higher up and along an occasionally exposed ridge. Higher up, the steepness eases and the path gradually changes to the cart track, which soon leads out of the forest and onto the grassy slopes, which offer a beautiful view of the nearby Polhograjska Gora. Cart track turns into a macadam road higher up, which quickly leads to the last houses in the village, where you also step onto the asphalt. The ascent continues along the scenic and initially slightly ascending road, which then turns to the other side of the hill, where it begins to descend more steeply.
After a few minutes of descending, you reach the next hamlet and a few metres further on a crossroads where you join the main road link between Polhovi Gradec and Črni Vrh.
Continue slightly to the right in the direction of Črnji Vrch and continue your ascent along the gently ascending road, which leads you over the panoramic slopes into the lane of a forest. When we step out of the forest again, we can see the Church of St Lenart, which we were looking at from quite a distance not so long ago.
We continue along the road, which quickly leads us past the primary school to the fire brigade's home at Črnji Vrh, where there is a registration box with a stamp. Here we continue to the left and after 5 minutes of further walking we arrive at the Church of St. Lenart, which is located on a lookout hill.
