The easiest way to get to Šmartno under Šmarna Gora is from Tacen or from Gorenjska's highway. When we come to village we search for a signpost which is on a electricity pole. We follow the road by this pole. When the road slightly descents it comes to a meadow. It turns right at the end of this meadow on a macadam road. We follow this road till a small parking lot on a grass behind a house. Do not park on a yard!

From the parking lot continue on the road a few meters. Immediately go on foot path in the woods. This route, which crosses kolovoz follow up to the chapel of Our Lady. Here we connected one way out of Tacna. Proceed slightly left by the most Shoji path. The path then made a sharp detour to the right and leads to a new chapel and immediately in the village where the great lawn. Here is a way to continue on the road to the top.
