We drive to Maribor and then keep on driving upwards Dravska dolina towards Radlje ob Dravi. We must pay attention when we arrive to village Ožbolt. After 5 kilometres of driving away from Ožbolt a road towards Ribnica na Pohorju branches to left (across a bridge). When we come to center of Ribnica a signpost for Ribniška koča directs us left upwards. We follow this road which soon becomes a macadam only to a cottage. In winter time road is driveable only till a ski slope on Ribniško Pohorje. This extends our walk for 20 minutes.

Of the huts going on the road five minutes after which we are led to a small grassy sedelca. Here we leave the road and is focusing straight (slightly right, if we come from the cabin) where the journey on the Meadow zložnem up. Razglednem Meadow path after us in ten minutes leads to the rise of lacustrine the top where a large monument stands. Next we continue a few meters to the signposts. The right way is to Roglo left unmarked but a Shoji brings us to the Fishing Lake. Already after a few steps slight downhill run to mark the lake natural reserve Ribniško. Continue to follow the path and only this leads to the timber paved stezice, which brings us right up to the lake.
