Puštal - Sveti križ na Hribcu

Access to the starting point:
First, drive to Škofja Loka, then continue driving in the direction of Gorenje vas. Continue through the old part of the town, but only as far as the crossroads where the road to Loško Castle turns off to the right. At this junction, turn left (direction Puštal) and the road will then lead you across the Poljanščice River to Puštal. Here, the road to the right branches off into the Hrastnica valley, and we continue left towards the village of Sora. Here you will notice a narrow and steep dirt road on the right, along which there are mountain direction signs for Osolnik, Tošč and Črni Vrh. There are no suitable parking places at the starting point, so it is better to park in one of the parking lots in Škofja Loka. This will extend the journey by about 10 to 15 minutes.

Path description:
From where we parked, we first walk to the starting point, then take the wide and steep cart track in the direction of Osolnik, Tošč and Črný Vrch. The path then climbs along the numerous stations of the Stations of the Cross leading to the Church of the Holy Cross on the Hill. Soon we reach a place where the marked path to Osolnik branches off to the left, and we continue straight on, where after a few minutes of further walking we arrive at the Church of the Holy Cross.
