We drive from Bled to Pokljuka. We turn on a forest road immediately after branch for Bohinj. Road goes across a big meadow at first and then brings us to a crossroads. We go straight forward and soon come to a parking lot by Javornik mountain pasture. Signposts for Blejska koča are here.

From parking lot we follow the footpath and after half an hour the path passes the road and then soon path from memorial joins. A short acsent follows and we came to cart track that we follow to cottage. We drop a couple metres from the hut and follow marks for Depela peč. After 10 minutes we leave the path towards Debela peč and go straight forward. Path is unmarked now, but it is nicely beaten. We walk on a ridge which is reachable on the lowest point. Here, it tusn left from where we have only a couple of minutes to the top.
