Access to the starting point:
Take the exit for Prevalje (to get here from Mežica, Border crossing Holmec or Raven na Koroškem), where from the roundabout in the centre of the town take the exit towards the Na Fari Nursing Home and the Na Fari settlement. When you reach the bus stop in front of the Krištan-Sonjak inn and pizzeria, the route described above begins. There are no suitable parking places at the starting point, so park in a suitable place somewhere nearby.
Path description:
From the starting point, walk to a small roundabout, from which you continue "straight ahead". The road then leads you through an underpass under the railway line, and a little higher up you arrive at a crossroads, where you continue right in the direction of Bar pri Hanni (on the left, the Pušnik farm and the Rožej settlement). There is a bit of a climb on the asphalt road, and then the signs for the Bar pri Hanni direct you slightly to the left on a steep macadam road, which you follow to the aforementioned bar.
From the bar, you can continue straight ahead along the road, or you can go through the courtyard to the road above. If you follow the second option, when you reach the road, turn left and pass the "ridge path" turnoff. After a few minutes, the two roads merge, and a few steps further on the road splits again. Continue right towards the Bidrih farm and the road through Zelenbreški potok (at the crossroads there are signs for the left road only).
The scenic road then forks again, and we again take the right fork towards the Bidrih farm (the left fork descends into the valley of the Zelenbreški potok). When you reach the farm, go around all the houses on the left, and at the crossroads take the left one (the right one leads to the nearby quarry). Higher up, you reach the edge of the forest and the chapel, after which the Stations of the Cross begin. Then climb through the woods, where the Stations of the Cross follow you all the way to the top. Just below the summit, the path turns right and leads to a small church at the top of Brinjeva Gora.
