Preval Prosca - Partisan cottage on Ključ

Access to the starting point:
From Dobrova, drive to Horjul or vice versa. When you reach the village Zaklanec, turn right (from Dobrova) in the direction of Polh Gradec. Follow the road as it climbs up to a small pass, where you will see mountain signposts along the road and a parking area next to them.

Path description:
From the parking lot we focus on the path in the direction of Ključa, which is a bit harder to find at the beginning as the mountain marker for Ključ is located about 15m away from the parking lot. The path then goes into the forest, where it climbs moderately along cart track, which is quite muddy after the rains. The path along and along cart track has a few forks, but the path is well marked so that it is not possible to get lost. After about half an hour of moderate ascent, the path leads us to the top of Ključ (Kladnik) from which the path begins to descend gently. During an easy descent of about 15 minutes, the path from the village of Podolnica joins us from the right. The path then begins to climb moderately again and after a further 15 minutes of walking leads us to the forested top of Ključ where we see a registration box.
From the top, continue right down towards the home at Ključ. The path begins to descend and is followed for approximately 10 minutes to the home, which is observed along the way.
