Potok Slanica - Andrejev dom na Slemenu

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Celje motorway, take the Mozirje exit and follow the road towards Mozirje and Logarska dolina. Just after the village Ljubija (located just before Mozirje), the road to Beli Vodi branches off to the right. The road then takes us through the village of Ljubija again and 500m after the village leads us to a crossroads where we continue right in the direction of Šoštanj, Lepa Njiva and Bele Vode. The road then soon leads us to Lepa Njiva where we continue straight in the direction of Bele Vode. A little further on, you reach a crossroads where the road to Sveta Florjan and Šoštanj branches off to the right. Here, continue straight ahead on the road in the direction of Bele Vode, but only as far as the Grebenšek guesthouse. At Grebenšek turn right and go past Mornova zijalka to the next crossroads, where you continue to the right. The road leads a little further to the next crossroads, where you continue straight ahead. Follow this road to a sharp left turn, in the middle of which is a crossroads and a ramp a little further on. Park here in the roadside parking lot, taking care not to interfere with any forestry work.
Access from Šoštanj is also possible.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road on the right, which soon turns into cart track. After a few minutes' walk, you reach a crossroads where you have two options for continuing.
The bottom right cart track is marked, but it turns into a completely ruined footpath. The path is steep and the passages between fallen trees are difficult and dangerous. In the middle of the climb, cross the left-hand cart track, then climb up the ruined path once more to reach a forest road, where you continue left.
If you continue on the left cart track, follow this until you reach a forest road, where you continue left (this cart track is not marked).
On the road the two paths join and this leads to a place where the path to Andrew's house branches off to the right up a ladder.
Here, in both cases, follow the marked path which climbs steeply through the forest. The steep path leads us slightly higher to cart track which we follow to a small clearing on which the house stands. Here the steepness eases and after a few more steps you reach a grassy slope. It is only a few minutes' walk to the mountain home.
