Access to the starting point:
From Tolmin or Nova Gorica, drive to Solkan, from where you continue to Sveti Gora. Turn left at the first sharp right turn and park in the parking lot near the main road.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the wide mulatier, which climbs gently to the north-west. After a good half-hour walk, we are pleasantly surprised by a small spring on the side of the path, where we can take a refreshing drink. The path soon after the well, climbs a little more and after a few minutes of climbing leads us to a forest road, where we continue to the right. Follow this road to the first crossroads, at which you will see mountain signs. Continue along the right-hand road which, after a further 20 minutes of moderate ascent, leads to Svete Gora.
PS: On the Goriško 1:50. 000 map (Kod&Kam), the route is marked as marked, but this is not the case until the junction 20 minutes below the summit.

Včeraj smo se po tu opisani poti tudi mi povzpeli na Sveto Goro, a smo si izlet podaljšali še z obiskom bližnjih Vodic, vrnili pa smo se po markirani peš poti, ki smo jo le na koncu zapustili v prid bližnjici, po kateri smo se spustili do tu omenjenega parkirišča.
