Mišače - Zjavka

Access to the starting point:
From the road Podbrezje - Brezje, in the settlement Posavec turn left (from the route of Brezje turn right) in the direction of the settlement Otoče. At Otoče, continue straight on towards Mišače, where the trail described above begins in the middle of the settlement by the chapel. There are no suitable parking places at the starting point, so you can park a little earlier at a suitable place along the road. This will extend the journey by 5 to 10 minutes.

Path description:
From the crossroads in the middle of the village Mišače continue in the direction of Kropa and Srednja Dobrava and start climbing on the asphalt road. Soon you will see a cross on the right, after which you go right into the woods on a footpath that climbs moderately and after a few minutes returns to the road. Follow the road towards Srednja Dobrava for a few more steps, then turn right onto a side road which leads to a nearby house, and we go left in front of the house and behind the goat house to cart track. Cart track climbs transversely and soon becomes overgrown and lays down. There is some scrambling, and as you approach the meadow go right, initially slightly downhill, where you cross the older logging trail in a small valley. Continue along the track for a short distance before joining another cart track. Continue to the right, where cart track becomes a track, and when you leave the forest for a short distance, it disappears a little in the meadow. On the other side of the meadow the track reappears and joins the wider path from Zgornja Dobrava.

Here again, continue to the right, and the gently sloping path leads to a marked crossroads, where you continue in the direction Zjavka (slightly to the right Ojstra peč 1 minute).
From cart track which we follow, a few steps further on, a wider path branches off to the right (the path leading further towards Pusti grad, Fuxova brv - the path which bypasses Zjavka), and we continue along cart track which continues with some short ascents and descents. After a few minutes, cart track splits, and we continue once more on the left-hand cart track. Cart track descends a little further and then climbs to the Zjavka lookout.
