Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Novo Mesto, take the exit Ivančna Gorica and then follow the road towards Stična. At Stična, at the crossroads opposite the monastery, turn slightly right and continue in the direction of Pristava nad Stično. In Mekinje you will see signs for Lavrice's Cottage, which will direct you to the right onto a slightly narrower road. The road first climbs slightly, then descends and leads us to a small crossroads, where we continue to the right and then after a few metres we park in a marked and beautifully landscaped parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, first walk to the crossroads, then continue along the lower road (not the road you came on, not the ascending road towards Lavrice's hut), which descends only slightly. After a few minutes, the road passes into the forest, where you will soon see the first signs for Pristavo. Here, turn left (Lavričeva koča on the right) and continue along cart track, which climbs gently through the forest. The well-marked path leads us higher up to the asphalted road, where we also leave the forest. The road continues through Dobrava pri Stični, and at the crossroads in the middle of the village, we continue right in the direction of Pristava. The road, which climbs gently to moderately throughout, leads us higher up to the village of Pristava nad Stično. Here you will see the inscription "Pristava 695 m B. K. P. stamp" on one of the houses, but we leave the asphalted road leading to the Partisan Home at this point and continue straight on the slightly less well-marked cart track. Cart track first leads us past a trestle and then over a grassy slope with a view into the forest, where it begins to descend gently. After a short descent, the path with Mala Goričica joins us from the left, and we continue straight on and after a moderate climb of some 10 steps we reach the summit, where the church of St Lambert stands.
