Krvava Peč - Forestry cottage Pri logarnici

Access to the starting point:
From the southern Ljubljana bypass, take the Ljubljana - Rudnik exit and continue towards Ig. At the roundabout at Igo, continue "left" (direction of exit Kurešček) and then after a few 100 m make a sharp right uphill (again direction Kurešček). Continue along a relatively wide and ascending road, which is then followed through the villages of Škrilje and Golo to the village of Osredek, where you continue right in the direction of Krvava Peći. Continue along a slightly narrower road, which you follow to the War Veterans' Home. At the home, turn right and park at a suitable place on the roadside.

Path description:
At the crossroads a few 10 m above the War Veterans' Home, turn right in the direction of Kureščko (straight ahead Iški Vintgar) and continue along the gently ascending road. Higher up, the road gradually turns into a forest and after a few minutes of climbing leads to a marked crossroads where you continue sharp left (straight past the Repičnikovo brezno ramp). The road continues to climb in a few serpentines and then gradually lays down. Continue through the more or less dense forest and follow the road to the next marked crossroads (ignore the smaller crossroads along the way and continue along the "main" road), where you turn left (straight Kurešček). The ascent continues along the gently sloping road, which soon leads us to an undistinguished pass between Lomnik (1005 m) and Božičevi Štand (990 m), after which the road gradually begins to descend. A descent of a few minutes follows and the road leads us to a crossroads of several roads. Here we continue slightly to the right (not sharp right), crossing a short lane of forest and then arriving at the forestry hut "Pri logarnici".
