Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Maribor motorway, take the Slovenske Konjice exit and then follow the road towards the town. From Slovenske Konjice continue on the regional road towards Celje, and we follow it to Stranice, where just 10 m after the roundabout we turn left into the village of Bukovlje. The road continues up through Bukovlje, and then turns left to Čretvež, where at a small junction we continue on the road on the bottom right. There is a short descent, turning right after the "last" house. Here you will see the sign Stolpnik, marking the start of the route. As there is no suitable parking space at the starting point, follow the road that climbs above the house for about 100 m and then park in a suitable place.
Path description:
From the parking lot we return to the "last" house in the village, where a sign directs us to cart track, which we follow for a few steps. After about 10 m of walking along the wide cart track, you will see a track on the right, which climbs through the forest. Just a little higher up, the first markings appear along the path and then accompany us as we climb through the forest, pointing the right way at crossroads. Higher up, step onto the forest road and follow it to the right towards the Štepih hunting lodge - the turn-off is not marked (straight ahead on footpath Stolpnik across Grofov Štant). Continue along the macadam road, which takes about 15 minutes of further walking to reach the aforementioned hunting lodge.
Near the hut, you will see signs for Stolpnik, which will direct you to the left on the ascending path. The path, which climbs moderately through the forest, quickly leads us to another forest road, which we follow to the left, walking along it for only a few steps, as the marker for Stolpnik then directs us to the right to the fork cart track. The path ahead starts to climb the broken cart track, then it veers slightly to the right and starts to climb steeply. Follow this rather steep path, which climbs mostly through the forest, all the way to the top, which is reached after about 15 minutes of further walking.

Danes po poti od slike 22 opravil zaključni del vzpona na Stolpnik. Vlaka/Kolovoz na slikah 23 in 24 trenutni ni aktivna in se je lepo zarasla z okolico. Prijeten vzpon je to, kaj več o celotni poti...začetek in konec ob Žički kartuziji  mogoče v razmerah.

danes sem šel po opisu zgoraj vendar ni tako v izhodišču po markirani poti XIV na kraju vasi Čretvež, poti so zelo dobro
