Access to the starting point:
From Škofja Loka, drive towards Gorenjska vas, but only as far as the village of Poljane above Škofja Loka. Here, continue to the right towards Javorje village, following the ascending road, which leads us higher into the village. In the said village, from where we are also connected to the road with Zaprevala, we continue to the left in the direction of Blegoš (the crossroads are well marked). The road, which further crosses a few hamlets, leads us higher to the crossroads of several roads (Črni Kal), where there is also a slightly larger parking lot. Here, take a sharp right and continue along a slightly worse forest road, which you follow for about 2 km. After this distance, you will see the mountain direction signs for Koprivnik - left and Mladi vrh - right along the road. Park here in one of the parking lots along the road.
Path description:
From the parking lot, take cart track towards Koprivnik (continue along the Mladi vrh road). Cart track goes immediately into the wods and begins a moderate to steep climb up the eastern slopes of Koprivnik. Higher up, cart track crosses a few lookout clearings (view of Mladi vrh) and then turns slightly to the left, where it becomes increasingly overgrown. Follow the cart track, which is quite often marked, almost to the top. Just below the summit, cart track turns into a footpath, which, after a few more steps, leads to the summit of Koprivnik.
