Bottom station of cableway on Krvavec - Dom na Gospincu (Hotel Rozka)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Vodice, then continue to the first semaphore crossing in Vodice, where you turn left towards Cerkelj na Gorenjskem and Brnik. When you reach the main roundabout on Spodnji Brnik, continue driving in the direction of Cerkeliai and the Krvavec ski resort. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski resort. Park in the large parking lot at the bottom station of the Krvavec cable car.
b) From the motorway Jesenice - Ljubljana, take the exit Kranj - East, then continue to Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. When you reach the main roundabout at Spodnji Brnik, continue driving towards Cerkeliai and the Krvavec ski resort. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski resort. Park in the large parking lot at the bottom station of the Krvavec cable car.

Path description:
From the lower station of the round-cabin cable car at Krvavec, we continue for a short time along the asphalt road leading to Štefanja Gora, but we soon leave it, as at the beginning of the left turn we continue right on the macadam road, along which we see signs for Davovec, the graveyard of the NOB fighters above Davovec and Krvavec. The dirt road continues along the Reka stream, and we continue along the valley to where the marked trail to Davovec and Krvavec turns left. Here we see signs along the way indicating that cyclists may come towards us, as part of the route follows the route of a "downhill" cycling track. The path continues through the forest and climbs quite steeply. Higher up, the path leads to the largely deserted hamlet of Davovec, where a few houses stand. Still a little higher we reach the saddle Davovec, where we join the paths from Štefanje Gora and Spodnje Kokra, and we continue to the right, initially along the cart track in the direction of the Mountain Home at Gospincu. The rather folded cart track then leads us past the NOB memorial, and the path forks behind the memorial a few times in a short time. At all crossroads, follow the markings carefully, and the marked path soon leaves the cart track and continues to climb steeply through the dense forest. The steeper and steeper path leads us higher up to a small lookout point, from which we have a view of the circular cable car leading to Krvavec. The path then returns to the forest and climbs along a path where we can meet some touring cyclists (there are quite a few of them; most of them have their own route, but occasionally there is only one route). When we come out of the forest, the path crosses a grazing fence and then leads us to a road, which we follow to the right to the upper station of the cable car to Krvavec. Dom na Gospincu is located in the immediate vicinity of this station.
