Access to the starting point:
Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Hrušica exit and follow the road towards Kranjska Gora. Just before the village of Dovje, the road branches off to the left and leads to Mojstrana (Vrata, Kot and Krma). Follow the road in the direction of the Vrata valley and follow it to the large parking lot near the Aljaž's home.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the macadam road, which after a 3-minute walk leads to the crossroads at Aljaževem dom. Continue right in the direction of Škrlatica and Dolkova špica along the path which leads us across the meadow into the forest. Continue up the initially gently sloping cart track, which changes to a slightly steeper footpath higher up. Soon, however, the path leads to the bed of a torrent, along which it climbs for only a short distance before turning right and climbing steeply through the forest. The path then turns to the left, where it crosses a short avalanche-prone slope, and then gradually passes onto the slopes below Stenar. The slopes continue to climb up the aforementioned slopes, which are lightly covered with dwarf pines and individual larch trees. Higher up, the path leads to a small crossroads where we continue right in the direction of Škrlatica (left Stenar along an unmarked path through Stenar gate. The path climbs only a short way, then lays down and leads us to a larger crossroads where we continue right in the direction of Škrlatica (left bivouac 2 minutes and Križ 1:30). The path crosses a small scree slope and then turns sharply to the right (left Stenar gate). Next, cross a slightly exposed shelf (slip hazard) to reach the pastures below Dolkova špica. The path ahead slowly starts to descend, but only to the steeper part of the path. Here, in early summer, we also encounter some snowfields (caution). The path then starts to rise again and soon reaches cirque Last Dolek, located between Škrlatica and Dolkova špica. Here we are at a crossroads, where we continue on the left path in the direction of Dolkova špica (right Škrlatica). The path continues on to a steep scree slope, over which you climb up to a steep ravine between Dolkova špica on the left and Rogljica on the right. There is a steep climb up to Rdeča škrbina on a path which is very dangerous for slipping due to the gravel (in early summer you may encounter a snowbank here). At the top of this climb, the path turns right, crosses a short sheltered ravine and leads to a crossroads at Red Stump. Continue left in the direction Dolkova špica (straight ahead to the bivouac at Dwarf pines (western route), Križ and Cirque) on the path that climbs along and along the top ridge of the mountain. After 15 minutes on the sometimes quite steep trail, the summit is reached. Gate - bivouac at Dwarf pines 3:00, bivouac at Dwarf pines - Dolkova špica 3:00.

Pred tednom dni prehodil tole pot res je lepa z čudovitimi razgledi na okoliške vrhove.V zadnjem delu zelo zahtevna saj ni markacij pot kažejo možici proti vrhu.Z vrha sem pot nadaljeval še na Križ-2410m. SLIKE Lp!

Včeraj bil na Dolkovi špici je ta pot res ˝zelo zahtevna označena˝, ker če primerjam s tisto iz smeri Krške stene bi prej rekel, da je samo ˝zahtevna označena pot˝ tale zgornja. Res da ni nobene koče med potjo, ampak gre za zahodno in vzhodno pot z različno zahtevnostjo. Na Rdeči škrbini je samo napis Dolkova špica, potem pa markacij nisem zasledil, so pa možici.

Pozdravljeni. Odpravil bi se na Dolkovo špico iz Aljaževega doma po vzhodni strani in se vračal dol po zahodni strani ter obiskal še Stenar, ter se spustil čez Sovatno na izhodišče(Aljažev dom).
Sedaj me pa zanima koliko naj bi bila zahtevna ta vzhodna stran na Dolkovo špico, kako je trenutno z markacijami in ali je ticti prehod po jeklenicah zelo zahteven in če je potrebno samovarovalo.

Danes sem šel po vzhodni poti na Škrlatico, potem pa še na Dolkovo špico in po zahodni dol. Pa ne bom pisal o poti ...
Žig na Dolkovi špici je razbit praktično do nerazpoznavnosti - verjento s kamnom, skrinjica pa izruvana iz betonske osnove in zvita, o knigi pa seveda ne duha ne sluha. Res mi ni jasno, kako more kdo uživati v tako objestnem uničevanju! Mislim, res bi rad srečal tega kretena. Z veseljem bi mu odtrgal jajca. Ne odrezal, odtrgal!

Glede na včeraj prehojeno pot(vzpon) - pot skozi Rdečo škrbino zelo krušljiva in neprijetna. Na vrhu, kot je bilo že napisano, precej razdejano. Spust definitivno priporočam po drugi strani(zahodna pot).
