Donačka gora

Description of peak:
Donačka gora is a peak located north of Rogatec. The peak, which geographically belongs to Karawanks, offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area. From the western peak, on which a high stone cross is erected, Boč and its surroundings can be seen, and in good weather the view extends from the central Kamnik Savinja Alps to Pohorje. On the western peak there is also a registration box and a Slovenian flag. Partly as already mentioned, Donačka gora has two peaks of almost the same height, the western and the eastern one. Most climbers finish their ascent on the western peak, but only a few extend their ascent to the more technically demanding eastern peak, 20 minutes away. The eastern peak can also be reached by a shorter climbing route.
