Feldseekopf

Description of peak:
Feldseekopf matches the height of Triglav (2864 m) which is the highest mountain of Slovenia and Julian Alps. Nevertheless, Feldseekopf sees much less visitors per day. The mountain is situated in the Goldberg mountain range of Hohe Taurn in Austria. A bivouac stands below the summit to the north at 2712 m (Dr. Rudolf Weißgerber Biwak). Even lower to the west is a lake Feldsee, after which the mountain is named. Further to the north two higher summits block the view, i.e Vorderer (2974 m) and Hinterer Geißlkopf (2888 m).
