Foronon del Buinz / Špik nad Nosom

Description of peak:
Foronon del Buinz is a 2531 m high mountain located in the mountain ridge between Jôf di Montasio and Viš. The rocky peak offers a view of the Viš and Jôf di Montasio groups and the border ridge, where the Kanin massif is best seen in good weather.
A few years ago, the Luca Vuerich bivouac was built on the summit, which can accommodate 9 people and is dedicated to the alpinist from Trbiz, after whom the bivouac is named.
