Description of mountain hut:
The Rifugio Scoiattoli Alpine Hut is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous Cinque Torri towers. From the hut, which is also reached by cable car from the Rifugio Bai de Dones, just 100 metres from the road leading from Cortina D Ampezzo to the Passo Falzarego, you have a beautiful view of the four or five towers of the Cinque Torri group (one of which collapsed in 2004), Nuvolau, Averau, Lagazuoi Piccolo, Cima Falzarego, Cima Bos, Tofana di Rozes and the other surrounding peaks.
